30 years since 1994

1994
Founding
Şinasi Güneş founded Bemis Elektrik in a workshop in Bursa.
2000
Own mould shop
Bemis set up its own mould shop and brought mould making in-house.
2004
Contact production and Madosan
Production of electrical contacts began, Bemis merged with Madosan and invested in CNC sliding-head automatic lathes.
2005
R&D department
A dedicated R&D department was established.
2007
A first in Türkiye
Bemis became the first manufacturer of 125 A CEE plugs and sockets in Türkiye, received the “Anatolia’s Brand” award and launched its first website.
2008
Giant electrical plug
Bemis built a giant electrical plug and exhibited it at the WIN EURASIA trade fair, where it drew great interest.
2010
Scented rubber
Bemis developed scented rubber products, a first in Türkiye.
2011
Antibacterial products
Antibacterial products were developed.
2012
Test laboratory
A comprehensive in-house test laboratory was established.
2013
Locking-nut products
Products with a locking nut were developed, and Bemis received the “Committee of the Year in Energy” award from BUGİAD (Bursa Young Businessmen’s Association).
2016
New factory
Bemis moved to a modern 16,000 m² factory in the Bursa Organised Industrial Zone.
2018
Bemis Teknik Elektrik A.Ş.
The company name and logo were renewed, and the company became Bemis Teknik Elektrik A.Ş.
2019
Series renewal
The CEE and rubber product series were renewed, and production of non-standard products was discontinued.
2020
RS series and patent
The new 63/125 A CEE RS series and the patented panel socket went into production.
2022
160 A CEE and solar power
Bemis developed Türkiye’s first 160 A CEE plug and socket series, launched its B2B portal and installed a solar power plant.
2023
E-V Charge and ATEX
Electric vehicle charging plugs and sockets and ATEX-certified products were developed.
2024
30th anniversary
Bemis marked its 30th anniversary with special events and a 30th-anniversary catalogue.
